Youth Business Serbia

"Youth Business Serbia" is a program of support for economic empowerment of young people which aims, through the development of entrepreneurship and work practices, to help young people to achieve economic progress. The program was launched as a partnership initiative between Smart Collective, Erste Bank and the National Employment Service, with the support of USAID and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The open call was announced for young entrepreneurs who need empowerment. Through the program, young entrepreneurs will get the support through the form of mentoring from experienced business managers as well as specialized training in various fields of business. The competition is open to young entrepreneurs (to 35 years), who have registered enterprise or entrepreneurial activities in the territory of 4 municipal partnerships: Nis, Novi Sad, Subotica and Kraljevo until 2010. The competition is open until 20 May.

The program is implemented in cooperation with organizations ENECA Nis, Sun Kragujevac, representatives of the Development Fund for young RFM Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics in Subotica, Centre for Sustainable Development Subotica, as well as the Business Leaders Forum and the National Alliance for Local Economic Development.
